Trying to get back to posting here more regular like. Here is a shot of Ms. 505 and some friends and our whip for the July 4th parade. Ms. 505s grandpa restored the 28 A truck a long time ago, and it really only comes out on the 4th. But we did take it for a good rip around the island all day, with 4 people and a dog in the bed. Her father drove the 29 roadster blowing oil smoke all over the crowd, but at least it kept the bugs away!

It was crazy fun. The thing runs like a champ. Pulls 50 up a hill better than the Range Rover!

No shit? Stock engine? I have a couple of buddies around here with A’s that are afraid to drive them over 40.

Yup totally stock as it was when new. The steering needs a greasing because there is a bit of tightness when steering to the right...but beyond that it is in great shape mechanically. You can start from a stop in second gear without a hiccup. Your friends shouldn’t worry. The roadster was even pulling 50 and that is much worse off. Really needs a head and or head gasket but I didn’t have time to do it before the parade

Well shit, that makes them daily driveable for me, 50 on backroads will do it. Always wanted one.

It’s honestly so good to see you around, again. I plan on doing a senior trip in 2018 from NC to Seattle, but spending a lot of time in the Northeast, so I might be up your way in a couple of years.

First off thank you very much!
Also that sounds awesome! Just let me know if you are in the hood! Even if it is a few years off...

I’ve been dreaming about a long roadtrip for years, and I thought senior year would be a great time to do it. And the Northeast is the only place in the US I haven’t been to (I haven’t even been to New York), and that’s where I’d like to spend a lot of time. My mother had her honeymoon in Bar Harbor, and pictures just make all of Maine look beautiful. Governor’s a bit...interesting, but I don’t want to say anything too bad considering the time that I want to spend there.
AMGtech - now with more recalls!
